Focused on countering improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in combat zones, Ridgewood provides comprehensive acquisition, program management and information system support to the Navy’s PMS 408 under PEO LMW – which a is a fully chartered PMO, charged as the Joint materiel developer of systems in the JCREW (Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare) effort. The PMS 408 mission is to design, develop, produce, procure and field counter-IED devices under a fast track acquisition effort in response to the JUONS (Joint Urgent Operational Need Statement).
